The research is conducted starting from the identification of essential skills in SSA countries to support innovation, design-thinking and greening in SMEs, while analyzing existing VET training programmes and tools. The research is designed to allow for collection and comparison of good practices that can contribute to improve VET digital-based training programmes. These programmes’ improvement will have significant crucial benefits on the SSA VET system’s availability of tools for successful green and innovative entrepreneurship.
The research is led by South African partner Sadrat and conducted by Kenyan Partner Ustadi, and Nigerian Partners Egunec, Yadaversity and Center for Digital Skills. This research results in the production of National Reports, and then an Overall Report, with the aggregate data of the Sub-Saharan area.
This WP entails a second phase for the identification and analysis of best pedagogical practices for small-scale sustainable entrepreneurship in EU countries. These activities are coordinated by Slovenian partner Prizma and conducted by Italian partner Eduforma, Greek partner EKS and German partner NEST.
At the end of this phase, a process of summary of the results will be done in order to develop a framework of skills for the innovation of VET programs tailored for each country. Specific methodologies and tools for achieving this aim will be elaborated in the third WP.
